Early-bird registration for youth instructional basketball at the Ottawa YMCA begins Nov. 28, according to the organization's online program guide.
The program will have four divisions: Pee Wee Dunkers for 3-5-year-olds who are not in kindergarten, Jumpers for kindergartners and first-graders, Rebounders for second- and third-graders, and Slammers for players in fourth through sixth grade.
The season will start Jan. 9 and run through Feb. 25. There will be a parents meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Ottawa YMCA.
Registration fees are $35 for members and $105 for nonmembers. After Dec. 24, a $20 late fee will apply to each late-registration request. Registration closes Dec. 31, with registrants after that date being put on a waiting list.
