Registration for Pool School at the Illinois Valley YMCA in Peru will start May 1.
Pool School offers free swimming lessons to children who are considered beginners or have not previously had swimming lessons. Children will be grouped by ages 3-5, 4-6 and 7-11. Class sizes will be a maximum of seven participants and a minimum of two. Classes will be held from 8:45-9:15 a.m., 9:20-9:50 a.m., and 9:55-10:25 a.m. Each child who registers will receive a free T-shirt.
