Runners will be hitting the streets of Streator on July 1 when the city hosts it 4th Americas Best 5K Run For Glory on July 1, the city announced recently.
The race will start at 8 a.m. at City Park, with check-in starting at 6:30 a.m.
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each division, the overall male and female runners, and the top male and female runners from Streator.
City Park is a block north of Main Street on Route 23. Each participant will receive refreshments and a T-shirt.
Cost to enter is $18 prior to July 1 and $20 on the day of the event. An entry form is available at streators4th.org. Registration also can be done at www.runrace.net.
