Mayor Olson:
(1) Approval of Jeff O’Sullivan for vacant Ward 3 alderman position. Oath of Office will follow.
(2) Acknowledgement of “Public Worker’s Week”
(3) Ordinance 2017-07 entitled “An Ordinance Amending Sections 18-111 and 18-113, of Chapter 18, of the Municipal Code of the City of Sandwich, to Incorporate and Adopt the International Property Maintenance Code, 2015 Edition” presented for passage.
(4) Ordinance 2017-09 entitled “An Ordinance in the B-3 Service, Automotive, and Wholesale Business District Permitting the Operation of a Body Art Establishment at 122 Indian Springs Drive, Unit 4, by Outer Beauty Ink, LLC” presented for passage.
(5) Executive Session at the end of the meeting for personnel under Section 2(c)(1)
(6) Reminder – Next week is the 5th Monday of the month, and no meeting is scheduled. Next meeting will be Monday, June 5th.

(2) Fox River Study Group: Request a motion for the City of Sandwich to become a funding member of the Fox River Study Group. The required contribution for the City of Sandwich’s participation is currently $0.25 per capita per year.
(3) 2017 Street Maintenance Project (17-00000-01-GM): Request a motion to approve the Construction Material Engineering Agreement with Rubino Engineering Inc. of Elgin, IL for the Hot-Mix Asphalt Street Maintenance Project in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
(4) Fairwinds Homeowners Association requests approval from the City Council to replace 41 parkway trees in various rights-of-way in the Fairwinds of Sandwich P.U.D.
(5) Doug Westbrook’s 20-year service anniversary was May 12, 2017.
(6) Zoning Board of Appeals regular meeting of Tuesday, May 23, 2017 has been canceled.
(7) 2017 Lisbon Street – Green to Main Reconstruction Project: Bid opening is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10:00 am.
(8) 2017 Center Street Lighting Project: Preconstruction meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10:00 am.
