Putnam County Board met Jan. 18.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

A Special Meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to order at 5:30 P.M., by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti.

Board members Duane Calbow, Sheila Haage, William Holmes, Steven Malavolti, and Luke Holly were present for the meeting.

This Special Meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to discuss and approve the proposed: “

A Resolution Approving The Declaration Of Trust Of Illinois Trust (Formerly Known As The Illinois Institutional Investors Trust) And Authorizing The Execution Thereof, And Authorizing Certain Officials To Act On Behalf Of The Putnam County Board”.

The board reviewed and discussed the aforementioned resolution from the County Treasurer’s Office. The board agreed that there were specific questions relative to the language in the resolution that needed to be addressed. Due to the absence of the County Treasurer for the meeting, the questions were not able to be addressed. The board then agreed to suspend the meeting and resume on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. at which time the County Treasurer can be present to address the board’s questions.

At 5:50 P.M., board member Sheila Haage moved to suspend the special meeting. Board member Duane Calbow seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a board vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The Suspended Special Meeting was scheduled to resume on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. The next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2017, at 5:30 P.M.
