Report: Wallace School District spent $12,957 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Wallace Community Consolidated School District 195 was up 1.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the La Salle County school district spent $12,815 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,957 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 311 to 361 students over the same period.

Wallace's spending in 2019-20 was 10.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
