City of Peru Committee of a Whole met April 22

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

A Committee Of A Whole meeting was called to order by City Clerk Dave Bartley in the Peru City Council Chambers on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.

City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Payton, Edgcomb, Sapienza, O’Sadnick, Lukosus and Moreno present, Alderman Tieman absent. Mayor Kolowski present.

PUBLIC COMMENT

MINUTES

Clerk Bartley presented the Committee of A Whole Minutes of April 8, 2024. Alderman Payton made a motion that the minutes be received and placed on file. Alderman Moreno seconded the motion; motion carried.

CLOSED SESSION

Alderman Edgcomb made a motion to go into closed session to discuss the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body is considered, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. Alderman Ballard seconded the motion. Clerk Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Payton, Edgcomb, Sapienza, O’Sadnick, Lukosus and Moreno voting aye; Alderman Tieman absent; motion carried.

Closed session began at 6:33 p.m. and ended at 6:54 p.m.

Alderman Payton made a motion to reopen the meeting. Alderman Sapienza seconded the motion. Clerk Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Ballard, Payton, Edgcomb, Sapienza, O’Sadnick, Lukosus and Moreno present, Alderman Tieman absent; Mayor Kolowski present.

ADJOURNMENT

Alderman Payton made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Sapienza seconded the motion and motion carried.
