One Bureau County resident in his or her seventies tested positive for COVID-19 on August 16, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been nine positive cases reported in Bureau County among residents in their seventies, accounting for 3.2 percent of all cases in the county. Through August 16, Bureau County has reported a total of 277 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, four of which have ended with the victim’s death.
