CALL TO ORDER 

Alderman Jeppson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 

ROLL CALL 

Present: Aldermen Demes, Reynolds, Jeppson, Herndon, and Crane 

Excused Absence: Chairman Ptak, Aldermen Thompson and Lavieri 

Moved by Alderman Crane and seconded by Alderman Herndon to allow Alderman Lavieri to attend the meeting remotely because of personal illness.

AYES: Aldermen Demes, Ptak, Reynolds, Lavieri, Jeppson, Herndon, Crane 

NAYS: NONE Absent: NONE Abstain: NONE 

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion is carried. 

ROLL CALL 

Present: Aldermen Demes, Reynolds, Lavieri, Jeppson, Herndon, and Crane 

Excused Absence: Chairman Ptak, Aldermen Thompson 

Others Present: Deputy Clerk Brent Bader, Finance Director John Duncan, Economic Development Director Curt Bedei, City Engineer Brian Brown, Fire Chief Jerry Janick, 

A quorum was present. 

Moved by Alderman Herndon and seconded by Alderman Reynolds to appoint Alderman Jeppson Chairman Pro-tem of the meeting. 

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion is carried. 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES 

Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Demes to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting from the January 5, 2026, meeting. 

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried. 

DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS 

Finance Director John Duncan explained that the purpose of the following motion is to open the bidding process for City-Wide grounds maintenance. Several additional locations were added to the list of properties to ascertain specific costs for mowing each of them. 

Moved by Alderman Crane and seconded by Alderman Herndon to recommend to the Council to approve of bidding City-Wide grounds maintenance and related matters. 

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried. 

Chairman Pro-tem Jeppson adjourned the meeting at 6:06 p.m.
