With basketball season just around the corner, Western Illinois men’s basketball is excited to announce its first annual Men’s Basketball Golf Outing, scheduled for Friday, August 26, at Harry Mussatto Golf Course in Macomb.
“We are excited to announce the inaugural Western Illinois men’s basketball golf outing. We have been waiting over two years to host this event and look forward to bringing our team and community together,” head coach Rob Jeter said. “Your continued support of our program is critical as we begin a series of new projects including renovating our locker room, updating our staff office space, and providing more opportunities for our team both in Macomb and on the road… The golf outing will also be a great opportunity for our student athletes and community to interact and continue to build relationships, which is a priority for our program.”
Registration is $150 per person or $600 for a foursome, and tickets to the dinner reception are $40 per person. Persons who wish to attend just the dinner reception are allowed to do so with purchase of a ticket. Participants in the golf outing will receive an exclusive Leatherneck men’s basketball item, one sleeve of golf balls, chances to interact with different members of the program, and even have the opportunity to win various hole prizes throughout the course.
