Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch Law Enforcement Committee Met June 30.

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was held at the Peru Municipal Building, 1901 4th Street, Peru, Illinois. LaSalle Commander Scott Samolinski called the meeting to order at 11:50 a.m.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT:
LaSalle Commander Scott Samolinski, Oglesby Chief of Police Doug Hayse, Peru Chief of Police Douglas Bernabei and Mendota Chief of Police Greg Kellen.
NON-VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT:
PSAP Manager JoEllen Fisher, Peru Commander Sarah Raymond, IVRD Telecommunicator Christie Degroot, Mendota Fire Chief Dennis Rutishuaser and Mendota Asst Fire Chief Brian Fisher

NEW BUSINESS:
Village Police RMS/CAD Operation Discussion of the following topics:
1. Email function added to Village Police records allowing supervisors the option of sending back reports to Officers which require corrections. Peru Chief Bernabei & Peru Commander Raymond demonstrated all the new functions in Village Police CAD & RMS.
2. Explanation of the Help/New option which provides a detailed explanation of any new icon or any changes which have been made to existing options in the Village Police program.
3. Discussion with Michael Brownlee reference different way to search topics in reports, CC supervisors when a message is sent to multiple individuals, adding option to send messages to other agencies.
4. Discussion on how to search/establish an active watch list under locations in Village Police. 5. Merging of name should remain the same get any requests for merging to my attention. 6. LEAD’s Text box was shown as well as the purpose and contents of what paperwork would be placed in this location.
7. Officers Assignment list showing anyone marked as supervisor (red) will show up at the bottom of the officer on duty list so only officer’s available for all will be at the top.
