On Sunday, March 30, former Seneca High School standout Matt Cruise’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lincoln Blue Tigers.

The game took place at UIS Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Blue Tigers this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at Weber Baseball Field against Maryville Saints.
