On Monday, Feb. 24, former Marquette High School standout Nick Melvin’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, lost 12-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwood Timberwolves.

The game took place at UIS Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Timberwolves this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at UIS Baseball Field against Lewis Flyers.
