The Northern Illinois Huskies, featuring former Princeton High School star Danny Cihocki, were defeated 17-2 by the Toledo Rockets in their NCAA Division I baseball contest at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.

Scott Park Baseball Complex served as the venue for the teams’ third meeting of the season. The Huskies secured an 8-3 win in their prior matchup on Saturday, March 14.

Cihocki pitched two innings, giving up three earned runs with five walks and one strikeout.

The Huskies are set to play their next game against the Miami RedHawks on Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park.
