On August 17, three white residents of LaSalle County had their COVID-19 test return positive”, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Since the start of the pandemic, 542 white residents have tested positive for COVID-19, constituting 56 percent of the positive cases in LaSalle County.
