On Friday, Feb. 28, former Streator Township High School standout Sean McGurk’s current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
