On Saturday, March 1, former LaSalle-Peru Township High School standout Kaitlyn Gibson’s current college team, the Ball State Cardinals, won 10-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Blue Raider Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at First Merchants Ballpark Complex against Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.
