PRINCETON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The Arts Council presents Octavia Blues Band
Princeton Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
The 35th annual Summer Concert Series features the best in local and regional jazz, folk, world, rock and blues. Join us every Thursday, 6–8 pm, from June 21–August 23.
In partnership with the Princeton Shopping Center and Edens, the Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) presents Octavia Blues Band on Thursday, August 16 at 6 p.m. in the Princeton Shopping Center, 301 North Harrison Street, Princeton, NJ.
Suzuki Music USA and Godin Guitars-endorsed international touring artist Octavia Blues is notated as one of the few ladies performing outstanding harmonica, vocals and guitar in a fun interactive performance of primarily original music. Currently in the studio recording her seventh and eighth albums, Octavia toured with Etta James, played harmonica with Stevie Wonder and opened for numerous international acts among which include B.B. King. This tight talented group hope to be considered for performance in the Summer Courtyard Concert Series at the Princeton Shopping Center in 2018.

Concerts will be held rain or shine. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket! In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held in a covered area at the Princeton Shopping Center. Ample parking is available at the Princeton Shopping Center.
