Putnam County Schools CUSD issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.

The Putnam County High School ITP Program opened the PC Panthers Coffee Shop on Friday, Sept. 7th. The students will take orders from students and staff, process the orders, and then deliver. The cost for a cup of coffee is $1. This is an awesome activity for the students encompassing so many of the "real world skills" being taught and learned. Proceeds from the program will go toward helping offset some costs for Special Olympics activities. They also plan to give back to the community as well. The community has been so supportive of the program and they want to show their appreciation. As a testimonial, my first cup of coffee tasted Great!!
