Princeton Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 21.
On June 6th, 2019, I will be presenting at the New Jersey Working Together Seminar being held at Rowan University. My topic will be “The Tax Implications of Worker Classification Issues”.
This topic deals with the different types of employer/employee relationships and the tax implications for each specific status.
Later that day, I will present a webinar, sponsored by the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). My topic will be “The Preparation and Filing of IRS Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Exemption for 501(c)(3) Organizations”.
This topic deals with the proper methodology for requesting tax exempt (non-profit) status from the Internal Revenue Service. The granting of this exemption permits organizations to receive tax deductible charitable donation from the general public in order to achieve their stated missions, goals and objectives and to provide the programs vital to their respective constituencies.
