The data shows that 14 men and four women were released in the La Salle zip code. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 54-year-old woman convicted of a property crime in 2015.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Reuben Molina. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2008, when he was 36 years old. He is now 46.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
