Princeton Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
CMA, a full-service communications, marketing and association management firm, announced today that Todd DeFilippis, finance manager, has been named Crew Star for the third quarter. The award recognizes a team member each quarter for his or her dedication to the company’s core values, while spreading these positive principles to the team.
DeFilippis, who joined CMA five years ago, was recognized for his accountability, enthusiasm and teamwork, which result in excellent client service. With two direct reports, DeFilippis oversees the financials for CMA and the associations it manages. His other responsibilities range from monthly financials and reporting, to quarterly and year end reporting. DeFilippis also supervises the human resources department and supports facilities. Throughout 2019, which was a large expansion year for CMA, DeFilippis oversaw the human resources department, managed new hires and onboarded employees from CMA’s Weblications acquisition.
“Demonstrating all of CMA’s core values, including strong leadership which has garnered support from his peers, Todd is proactive, solution-oriented and enthusiastic about improving and streamlining efficiencies for both the marketing and association management departments,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, CEO and founder of CMA. “Todd also possesses strong teamwork and accountability skills. CMA always can count on him to meet deadlines and deliver on his commitments.”
With this award, DeFilippis will receive a reserved parking spot in the employee lot, lunch with CMA’s executive team, a pre-paid gift card and a prominently displayed headshot in the CMA lobby with past Crew Star winners.
