Illinois Valley Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.
Presented by Illinois Valley Hospice, this workshop is being provided to reach out to children 6-14 who have experienced the death of a loved one.
The purpose is to allow children to remember their loved one by creating their own unique treasure chest of memories.
We will be providing all materials and lunch. We ask that your child brings a picture of their loved one, if possible. As well as a small keepsake that may remind them of their loved one.
If you would like to register your child for this workshop or have further questions, please contact the hospice office at 815-224-1307 by October 5th, 2019.
