Alumni softball games will start a busy stretch of August for Streator High School sports-related events.
The softball games will start at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the SHS softball field, 202 W. Lincoln Ave.
On Thursday, Aug. 12, the school will hold its fall-sports orientation at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
The youth football jamboree gets underway at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the SHS football field.
Boys varsity golf opens its season by facing Eureka at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Kaufman Park in Eureka.
Fall-sports pictures are set to start at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17. Then, on Thursday, Aug. 18, the SHS boys' varsity golf season continues when the Bulldogs take on Seneca at 4 p.m. at Nettle Creek Golf Course in Seneca.
The football team's Red/White Scrimmage is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
