Several Hall High sports teams start their fall seasons this month.
Boys' golf starts its 2016 fall-sports season for Hall High School (HHS) soon in Spring Valley.
The Red Devils boys' golf team will open its new season at the Geneseo Quad at 4 p.m. Monday at Maple Bluff Golf Course. Other schools competing in the event are Kewanee and Mercer County.
Boys' soccer gets underway at the Earlville Tournament starting at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22. The Red Devils' first home match is against Orin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Volleyball starts at home at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, against Seneca, then the team hosts the Early Bird Varsity Tournament starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.
The HHS football team has its Red/White Scrimmage at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Richard Nesti Stadium. The Red Devils open the season with a home game against Fulton at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26.
Cross-country starts its season with a home meet against IVC High and Putnam County at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Echo Bluff.
