The City of LaSalle will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at LaSalle City Hall, 745 Second St., to provide updates on the status of the city's tax-increment financing (TIF) districts, including costs and revenue-generation issues.

TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS
Pursuant to Section 5/11-74.4-5(i) of the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, the City of LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois, an Illinois Municipal Corporation, hereby gives Notice of a Public Hearing to be held at 6:00 pm, Central Daylight Saving Time, on September 12, 2016, at the LaSalle City Hall, 745 Second Street, LaSalle, Illinois. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to review the cumulative status of the LaSalle TIF Districts, including the following: (i) the amount of revenue generated within the redevelopment project areas, (ii) any expenditures made by the municipality for the redevelopment project areas including without limitation expenditures from the special tax allocation funds, (iii) the status of planned activities, goals, and objectives set forth in the redevelopment plans including details on new or planned construction within the redevelopment project areas.
