Adult volleyball and sloball basketball will start the second week of November at the Streator YMCA, 710 Oakley Ave.
According to StreatorYMCA.org, adult volleyball, which is for participants ages 15 and older, entails four-on-four games that are self-officiated and will have at least one female on the court. Games will be played on Mondays, starting Nov. 7; each team is guaranteed eight games.
Cost is $125 per team, or $25 per program participant, up to $225.
Adult sloball for participants ages 30 and older will be Tuesdays beginning Nov. 8. Each team will play 12 games, which are self-officiated. Each team can have two players younger than 30, with one allowed on the court at a time. Sloball features four-on-four games played cross-court.
Cost is $125 per team, or $45 per program participant.
