The second annual Illinois Valley Community College Eagles Athletic Department Trivia Night is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in the campus gymnasium, according to ivcc.edu.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The cost to enter the Halloween-themed contest is $10 per person or $7 per IVCC student.
Spots remain open for 10-person trivia teams; extra players will be available for teams needing to fill spots.
The first-place team will win $300, with the second-place team winning $200.
The evening will also feature a 50/50 drawing, a raffle for participants who come in costumes, and a best-costumed-table contest. Also, IVCC students who have their student IDs will be eligible for a raffle for a $50 gift certificate for the bookstore.
Concessions will be for sale at the event.
All proceeds from the event will go toward IVCC athletics.
