Adult fastball-basketball and indoor-soccer leagues will be starting soon at the Streator Family YMCA, 710 Oakley Ave., according to the fall program guide on StreatorYMCA.org.
The indoor soccer league will begin Dec. 1 and run on Thursdays, with each team guaranteed to play nine games. The league is for participants ages 16 and older. Each full-court, six-on-six game is self-officiated and will use a futsal ball, with barriers used to keep the ball in play. Each team of six includes a goalie.
Cost per player is $50, or $35 for members.
The four-on-four fastball-basketball league will be played Wednesdays starting Jan. 4, with each team guaranteed to play 12 games. The league is for participants ages 18 and older and includes cross-court, self-officiated games.
Cost to play is $125 for each team of members, and $45 per program participant.
