The pairings have been set for the Earlville-Leland Freshman/Sophomore Christmas Girls Basketball Tournament, which runs Dec. 26-28 at Earlville Junior Senior High School, according to Putnam County High School's section on il.8to18.com.
Tourney action opens with Seneca vs. Putnam County at 9 a.m. Dec. 26, followed by Somonauk vs. Hall at 10:30 a.m., Marquette vs. Sandwich at noon, and Earlville-Leland vs. Plano at 1:30 p.m. to wrap up the first day.
The semifinals will take place Dec. 27, with the games in the championship semifinals taking place at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and the games in the consolation semifinals scheduled for 9 and 10:30 a.m.
The consolation-bracket third-place game will start at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 28, followed by the consolation-championship game at 11 a.m., the championship-bracket third-place game at 12:30 p.m. and the tournament championship game at 2 p.m.
