The Illinois Valley YMCA in Peru plans to provide tumbling and trampoline programs starting Jan. 20, according to the program guide on ivymca.com.
Preschool Open Gym for ages 6 and younger will take place once a month through May, starting with the first session at 4-5 p.m. Jan. 20. These sessions will focus on tumbling and trampoline basics. The price is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.
Flip Flop Friday for ages 5 and older also starts Jan. 20, with the sessions running 5-6:30 p.m. Different types of flip-flop techniques will be practiced. The programs will take place once each month through May 19, with member fees at $5 each and nonmember fees at $7 each.
Funday Sunday -- an unstructured, supervised session for all ages -- starts at noon Jan. 22 and will be held once each month through May 21. It costs $5 per member and $7 per nonmember.
