LaSalle-Peru Township High School  (LPHS) District 120 has made changes to its grading system.

For the second semester of this school year, all classes at LPHS will be graded using grading categories: tests, quizzes, homework, labs and more. Each category will receive a certain amount of weight for final scores, determined by the teachers within each academic division.

LPHS is implementing this grading system to afford greater consistency within courses and across the district curriculum. For example, a student in Algebra I being taught by Teacher A will receive the same grading structure as an Algebra I student being taught by Teacher B.

To continue to achieve its ever-present goal of providing the best academic environment for its students, the school believes it is in the students' best interest to make these grading system changes.
