Agriculture operator class to start Tuesday

Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) is offering an Agriculture Operator class to obtain a certificate starting tomorrow, Feb. 7.

The class, which still has seats available, will focus on safety, calibration, equipment maintenance, customer relations and requirements needed to become licensed in the state of Illinois.

The class will meet 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. two separate Saturdays, Feb. 18 and Feb. 25.

The cost for the class is $399. It is sponsored by the IVCC’s Continuing Education Center, The University of Illinois Extension and Northern Partners Cooperative.
