Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) is emailing students the Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory, a nationwide college student satisfaction survey.
IVCC is asking students to complete the surveys, last administered to IVCC students in 2014, by March 24, the college said on its website. The survey is confidential and anonymous so students can answer the questions about the college honestly, which will help IVCC determine how they are doing compared to colleges around the country.
“We really want to encourage our students to complete the survey,” Matthew Suerth, IVCC director of institutional research, said in the posting. “The more responses we have, the better picture we have of how IVCC is performing at its core functions from the student’s perspective.”
The survey should take 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The school will send reminder emails so that they get as many responses as possible.
“It’s important that students complete the survey so we know what areas we need to improve and what areas we excel at,” Suerth said in the posting. “Student’s opinions matter.”
