Runners have three weeks to get ready for the 24th annual Streator Family YMCA Memorial Day 5K Race on May 29.
According to the YMCA's website, registration fees are $25 per runner in the 3.1-mile race and $20 per participant in the 2-mile event until the day of the race, when fees will rise to $30 and $25, respectively.
Participants can grab water along the race course and will have access to showers and refreshments afterward. The top three finishers in each division will receive medals, and the first 200 registrants will receive T-shirts.
Check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m., with a briefing set for 8:45 a.m.; the race/walk begins at 9 a.m.
