City of Peru Executive Session Public Services Committee met January 16.

Alderman Lukosus made a motion to go into closed session. Pursuant to 5ILCS 120/2; Meetings of a municipality operating as a municipal utility, power or natural gas agency to discuss contracts for the purchase, sale, or delivery of electricity or natural gas and the results of load forecast studies. Alderman Waldorf seconded the motion. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Waldorf, Lukosus, Sapienza and Ballard voting aye; Mayor Han l voting aye; motion carried.
The executive session was called to order by Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia in the Peru City Council Chambers on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10:53 a.m. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Waldorf, Lukosus, Sapienza and Ballard present; Mayor Han l present. Also present Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia, Alderman Potthoff and City Engineer Eric Carls.
Mayor Han l initiated a discussion regarding electric rates.
Alderman Waldorf made a motion to end closed session. Pursuant to 5ILCS 120/2; Meetings of a municipality operating as a municipal utility, power or natural gas agency to discuss contracts for the purchase, sale, or delivery of electricity or natural gas and the results of load forecast studies. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion. Deputy Clerk Stephanie Piscia called the roll with Aldermen Waldorf, Lukosus, Sapienza and Ballard voting aye; Mayor Harl voting aye; motion carried.
