City of Peru Executive Session Public Services Committee met January 3.

Alderman Lukosus made a motion to go into closed session. Pursuant to 5ILCS 120/2; Meetings of a municipality operating as a municipal utility, power or natural gas agency to discuss contracts for the purchase, sale, or delivery of electricity or natural gas and the results of load forecast studies. Alderman Ballard seconded the motion. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Lukosus, Sapienza and Ballard voting aye; Alderman Waldorf absent; Mayor Hart voting aye; motion carried.
The executive session was called to order by City Clerk Dave Bartley in the Peru City Council Chambers on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:17 a.m. City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Lukosus, Sapienza and Ballard present; Alderman Waldorf absent; Mayor Han l present. Also present City Clerk Dave Bartley, Alderman Potthoff, City Engineer Eric Carts, Economic Development Director Bob Vickrey and Mike Stariha, John Gugliemetti and Greg Maze of American Nickeloid.
Mayor Hart initiated a discussion regarding electric rates.
