The village had received a letter for fine for audit submission to the state from fiscal year 2015. Randy inquired of Mike Walker as to why. Mike stated he had filed the report on November 24, 2015. A notice was sent in February 2016 to the late status. Mike submitted the audit again along with proof of filing on November 24, 2015 and asked for a fine reduction. The state has denied a fine reduction for this without explanation. Mike Walker stated that he would pay any fine incurred from this. The board will wait for further notices from the state.

It was discovered with the recent power outage; the generator has burned up. It was found that it was out of warranty from Generac. A representative has been out to look at the generator and Generac has informed Chuck they will repair and warranty the part that has gone bad. Chuck stated that this part is no longer being made, they would have to build the part. Chuck stated the estimated time would be a week. If need be they would bring us a portable generator to use in the meantime. There should be no cost to the village for this. They did feel this generator was more of a residential generator as opposed to an industrial generator. Once repaired they will check the amps on this to see if it is enough for what it is powering up.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None

There being no further business, Randy McMurray motioned to adjourn the meeting. Shelly Figgins 2nd.

Motion Carried and the meeting adjourned.
