City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Lukosus, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard present; Aldermen Waldorf and Radtke absent; Mayor Harl present.
All joined in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

Minutes
Mayor Harl presented the minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 17, 2017. Alderman Ferrari made a motion that the minutes be received and placed on file. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion; motion carried.
Financial Report
Mayor Harl presented the Treasurer’s Report for March 2017; City Clerk’s Report of Cash Received for March 2017 and General Fund; Miscellaneous Funds Report for March 2017 and Sales, Home Rule, Use and Telecommunication
Tax Receipts for January 2017. Alderman Potthoff made a motion that the reports be received and placed on file.
Alderman Potthoff reported sales tax is down 2%. Alderman Payton seconded the motion; motion carried.
Activity Report
Mayor Harl presented the Building Permits Report-First Quarter Report 2017; Peru Police Department Monthly Report for March 2017 and the Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch Quarterly Activity Report. Alderman Ferrari made a motion the reports be received and placed on file. Alderman Potthoff seconded the motion; motion carried.
Alderman Potthoff made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Lukosus seconded the motion; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
Judge Cynthia Raccuglia conducted the swearing in ceremony of re-elected and newly elected officials.
