Mayor Olson:
(1) Ordinance 2017-14 entitled “An Ordinance Adopting Section 74-172 Parking of Commercial or Recreational Vehicles, Trailers, or Truck Tractors Restricted, to Chapter 74 Traffic and Vehicles of the Municipal Code in the City of Sandwich” presented for first reading. This is the first reading of an ordinance that would restrict parking of commercial and recreational vehicles or trailers on the public streets.

(2) 2017 Lisbon Street – Green to Main Reconstruction Project:
a. Recommendation of approval of the Easement and On-Street Parking Agreement with Willow Crest Building L.L.C.
b. Recommendation of approval of a construction material testing agreement with Testing Service Corporation of DeKalb, IL with a proposed not-to-exceed limit of $4,500.00.
c. Recommendation of approval of a change order dated August 24, 2017 to undercut unsuitable soils and replace with aggregate in the south parking area with total unit pricing of $7,200.00.
(3) 2017 Street Maintenance Project (17-00000-01-GM)
a. Close Main Street between Church Street and Railroad Street on Monday, August 28th between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm to patch the roadway.
(4) 2017 Center Street Lighting Project:
a. Recommendation of approval of a change order dated August 24, 2017 to replace damaged conduit across Main Street with a total unit pricing of $7,200.00.
(5) 2017 6th Street Water Main Project:
a. Notice to Bidders to appear in the September 1, 2017 Sandwich Record. Bid opening will be September 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
b. Continuing work on easement agreement
(6) Fox River Study Group Meeting on August 31, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Fox Metro Water Reclamation District in Oswego, IL
