Tonica Community Consolidated School District #79 Special Board met Oct. 2.

1. Call to Order
a. Roll Call
b. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Recognition of Visitors and Public Comments
a. Visitors are asked to please sign in and indicate if your residence status in the Tonica School District Boundaries. Indicate if you wish to address the Tonica Board of Education. Please limit your comments to 5 minutes or less; if there is a group wishing to comment on the same topic please select a spokesperson for the group. The Tonica Board of Education may enter into executive session pending the subject or topic as outlined by Illinois Law.
3. New Business
a. Presentation of the District Title 1 Plan
i. Motion to approve the District’s Title 1 Plan school-wide waiver
ii. Motion to approve the Tonica CCSD#79 District-Wide Title 1 plan as presented
b. Presentation of the District Elementary and Secondary Education Act plan
i. Motion to approve the Tonica CCSD#79 ESEA plan as presented
4. Executive Session
a. 5 ILCS 120/2 (C) (1) Executive session for the purpose of appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body
i. Motion to enter into Executive session at p.m. for the purpose of appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body.
5. Reconvene in Regular Session
a. Motion to adjourn Executive Session at pm and reconvene in regular session.
6. Adjournment
