The Sandwich Park District's Festival of Trees and Holiday Lane Craft Show are set for Dec. 2-3, the district's Facebook page announced recently.
The Festival of Trees will start at 10 a.m. both days at Timber Creek Inn and Suites and Convention Center, 3300 Drew St., with each tree decorated by a business or organization. Attendees can take pictures with Santa from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Holiday Lane Craft Show will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 2 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 3 at the center. The event will feature craftmakers and home-business owners among decorated trees.
Also that weekend, a living nativity will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Road, starting at 4 p.m. Dec. 2 and 5 p.m. Dec. 3. Two other events will be held on Dec. 2: the Christmas Village from 5-7 p.m., hosted by the Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce, and trolley tours of decorated homes from 5-8 p.m. The Christmas Village will have music, s'mores and Santa. The tour will leave every 30 minutes from Veterans Park.
