Village of McNabb President and Board of Trustees met Oct. 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The President and Board of Trustees met in regular session on October 11, 2017. Roll call was taken. Present were Village President Brandy Sandberg, Treasurer Dennis, Trustees Edens, Haar, McNaughton, Trone, Vaskie and Wegrzyn. Absent was Clerk Harrison. The minutes of the September 13, 2017 meeting were approved as sent by Trustee Edens with a second by Trustee Trone, motion carried.

Trustee Haar made a motion to accept the 8/31/2017 financial report with a second from Trustee Trone. Motion carried.

BILLS

Trustee Trone made a motion to pay bills as presented with a second from Vaskie, motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS

-NCICG annual dinner - Thursday, November 9

-Donation request from PC Educational Foundation for the PCJH Wellness Program - Trustee Hear made motion to donate $250 with a second from Edens, motion carried.

GUESTS

-Jim Pozzi of Republic Services was in attendance to inform the board that they have acquired IV Waste Services. The Village has no contract on file with IVWS. He would like to set up a meeting to discuss a new contract.

The village will reach out to other garbage disposal companies for bids.

ZONING AND PLANNING

-No report

WATER AND MAINTENANCE

-fire hydrants have been flushed

-pressure washer at pump house broke loose - new one will be purchased

-Joe/TEST will check on valves for pump house

SEWER

-laterals have been cleaned

ENGINEERING

-Don Bixby from Chamlin Engineering was in attendance to update board on 2017 Street Maintenance. He stated the spray patch has been approved by the State and should be completed the week of October 23rd.

POLICE

-There is a possibility for potential interview in a couple weeks.

BASEBALL

-No business

NEW BUSINESS

-Bob Bruch will be snowplowing again this year.

OLD BUSINESS

-Discussion concerning Theodore Street property was tabled until next month.

There was no further business. The next meeting will be held on November 8. Trustee Edens made a motion to adjourn the meeting with a second coming from Trustee Haar. Meeting was adjourned.
