Oglesby Public School District #125 Board of Education met Oct. 24.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Call to Order/Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Doug Kramarsic at 5:00 p.m. Present: Doug Kramarsic, Marc Strand, Bob Etzenbach, Michael Pillion, Superintendent.
Discussion of Future Building Needs Assessment
Mr. Pillion went over the 10 year life safety project of what has been completed and what is left yet to complete.
There was discussion regarding items at both schools.
There was discussion about the amount budgeted and priority of needs of the 10 year plan.
Discussion was also had about the need for additional items that may have to be added through amendment that were not put on the original 10 year plan that was noted by the architect or have come up since the plan and walkthroughs were started three years ago.
Discussion of need work/repair of bus lane at Lincoln not on HLS list to be done during this coming summer.
The following items were decided to be completed for the next project: Washington items 1 and 2, and Lincoln items 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
If budget and bids permit, possibly do Washington item 3 and/or replacement of fan in Lincoln computer closet that wasn’t considered life safety.
