Seneca Township High School District 160 Building, Grounds & Transportation Committee met December 6.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

A meeting of the Building, Grounds & Transportation Committee was held on December 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was called to order with the following members present: Ron Frye and Mark Victor. Also present: Jim Carlson, Barry Buchanan, Carolyn Lockridge and Dan Stecken Dan Stecken left at 9:15 a.m.

A. Public Comment

There was no public comment.

B. Building, Grounds & Transportation

1. Performance Contract

Dr. Carlson reviewed the sign in sheet for the Mandatory Meeting held November 21 , 2017. Scott Engstrom was the only Representative to attend the meeting. Dr. Carlson also reviewed the timeline and the life safety work to be performed under the Performance Contract.

2. ROE Compliance Review

Dr. Carlson stated overall the compliance review went well. He reviewed the items listed on the Violation form.

3. Key Fob Internal Procedures

Dr. Carlson discussed the Keys and Fobs Protocols that outlined the goals, guiding principles and expectations for users of the high school property. The document is meant to be an internal guide for issuing keys and fobs.

4. Building Services Update

Barry Buchanan stated the new heating coil for the West Campus was installed. The concrete pads for the track bleachers and the long jump repair is done. The HVAC control project for the West Campus is in process.

C. Other

Dr. Carlson discussed the timeline for reviewing School Architect RFP information. He also stated Jack Cunningham contacted him about allowing a sign on his property on Main St.

D. Adjourn

The meeting adjourned at 9:58 a.m.
