Tonica Community Consolidated School District 79 Board of Education met November 28.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
I. Routine Business
President Brian Marcinkus convened the board meeting at 7:06 p.m. Al Leffelman, Julie Rietgraf, Jackie Anderson, Tony Bernardoni, Nikki Freeman and Ritch Fundell were present.
Additional Attendees: Mr. Charles Schneider (Superintendent/Principal), Shannon Marcinkus, Elizabeth Kilter
II. New Business
• Motion by Fundell, 2nd by Leffelman recommend the Board uphold the Administration’s decision to suspend student “A” for two (2) school days on October 19 and 20, 2017, for the reasons set forth in the Board Findings regarding student “A”, which are incorporated by this reference. We may revisit the decision upon completion of the evaluation process if so request by the family. Motion Carried.
III. Adjournment
• Motion by Bernardoni, 2nd by Freeman to adjourn regular board meeting at 8:34 p.m. Motion Carried.
