Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

Mayor Olson:

(1) Introduction of Geri Benning – Chamber of Commerce Director

(2) Brandon Partridge - Discussion regarding a request to increase the number of Class K liquor licenses from 2 to 3

(3) Rashid Bhutta – Discussion regarding a request for the creation of a liquor & video gaming license for gas station

(4) Discussion update on solar power presentation by Progressive Energy and other solar vendors

(5) Budget discussion setting budget meetings and update on budget meeting

(6) Reminder – Tourism Committee Meeting on February 21st at 7 PM in the Council Chambers

(6) Update on DeKalb County Convention & Visitors Bureau

(7) Ordinance 20018-03 entitled “An Ordinance Adopting the NFPA 101 ‘Code for Safety to Life from Fire in Buildings & Structures, 2015 Edition’ and the ‘International Fire Code, 2015 Edition’ as Amended”. The City will consider adopting the 2015 Editions of the International Fire Code 2015 and the NFPA 101 Code for Safety to Life from Fire in Buildings and Structures.

(2) 2000 Chevy Blazer (99,000 miles) Vehicle Replacement: Discussion of the purchase of a 2018 Ford F-150 truck from Gjovik Ford in an amount of $27,939.00 + license + title.

(3) 2018 Planning Priorities Report:

a. Local Technical Assistance Project Scope

b. Memorandum of Understanding between CMAP and the City of Sandwich

c. Resolution to Accept Planning Technical Assistance Services Delivered by the
