City of Peru Committee of the Whole met March 5.

A Committee Of A Whole meeting was called to order by Scott J. Harl in the Peru City Council Chambers on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
City Clerk Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard present; Mayor Harl present. Alderman Radtke arrived at 6:34 p,m,
MINUTES
Mayor Harl presented the Committee Of A Whole Minutes of February 5, 2018. Alderman Potthoff made a motion that the minutes be received and placed on file. Alderman Waldorf seconded the motion; motion carried.
CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Harl asked for a motion to go into closed session to discuss appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees, including the public body s legal counsel, or to hear testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity and meetings where the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body is being considered, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. Alderman Payton made a motion to go into closed session. Alderman Ballard seconded the motion. City Clerk
Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard voting aye; motion carried.
Closed session began at 6:31 p.m.; ended 7:05 p.m.
Alderman Sapienza made a motion to re-open the meeting at 7:06 p.m. Alderman Ferrari seconded the motion. City Clerk
Dave Bartley called the roll with Aldermen Potthoff, Ferrari, Waldorf, Lukosus, Radtke, Sapienza, Payton and Ballard present;
Mayor Harl present.
ADJOURNMENT
Alderman Waldorf made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Alderman Ferrari seconded the motion and motion carried.
