David Manigold called the meeting to order at 11:06 a.m.

Moved by Ken Brown, second by David Manigold that the minutes of the January 25, 2018 meeting be approved as written. All ayes. Motion passed.

Upcoming exams:
Fire Promotion written exam August 29, 2018 6:00 p.m. Captain and Lieutenant
Police Promotion written exam September 26, 2018 3:00 p.m. Corporal
Police Promotion written exam September 26, 2018 6:00 p.m. Captain and Sergeant
The Board will attend the spring Illinois Fire and Police Commissioners Association Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Bloomington, Illinois.
Old Business
Discussion regarding updating the Board’s Rules and Regulations regarding Section 9.1 to mirror the State Statute pertaining to preference points. To be discussed further at the next meeting.
