Report: La Salle-Peru spent $13,390 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at La Salle-Peru Township High School District 120 is up 5 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Lasalle County school district spent $12,695 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,390 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1274 to 1220.

La Salle-Peru's spending in 2016-17 was 3 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
